For this weekend’s recipe I wanted to show you a quick and easy snack that anyone on the program can even have! Wendy and I love making new recipe’s and coming up with good snacks for you all to try, and this one has always been one of our go to favorites! These baked cinnamon apple chips are two ingredients and take almost no time at all to prep! It’s a great snack to make in bulk and have throughout the week as you get those snack cravings. If you are on one of our weight loss programs, you can count this as your daily serving of fruit! Hope you enjoy this yummy fall snack!
Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips
1-2 apples (I used Honeycrisp)
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Using a sharp knife or mandolin, slice apples thinly. Discard seeds. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange apple slices on it without overlapping. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples.
Bake for approximately 1 hour, then flip. Continue baking for 1-2 hours, flipping occasionally, until the apple slices are no longer moist. Store in airtight container.
