WHEN I READ THE VERSE IN HEBREWS 12:12-13; “THEREFORE, STRENGTHEN YOUR FEEBLE ARMS AND WEAK KNEES. MAKE LEVEL PATHS FOR YOUR FEET, SO THAT THE LAME MAY NOT BE DISABLED, BUT RATHER HEALED.”….
I know that it is addressing our spiritual strength. But, my eyes and heart see things through health and soul. I am encouraged to strengthen my arms and legs. I know that doing this – I will age better and be strong and not lame. I can take care of myself and not dependent on others. That is why I exercise. To prevent problems, sickness, and disease.
I love to feel strong and capable of conquering the daily tasks ahead of me – physically as well as spiritually. To lift weights, do my push-ups, pull-ups, bench press, run and even play rugby!
My Dad died over 29 years ago from heart disease and a fatal heart attack on Jan 11 at the age of 50. I just turned 50. Can’t even imagine not having the strength and my heart health. And leaving behind my family this year. WOW!
So, what are YOU doing to strengthen your health? Your feeble arms? Your weak knees? Your heart? Don’t wait for a heart attack. Don’t wait for the “diagnosis”.
