Is Your Glass Half Full Or Over Flowing?

It’s time again for Wendy’s Wisdom Words Wednesday! For those of you that see me regularly in the office, I hope you notice that I’m always smiling, walk with purpose(that means loudly) and just seem happy to be doing what I do. It’s not always easy but I feel it takes a lot more energy to be frowning and sad. We all have our struggles and we all can choose to let those things take over our attitude. I choose not to. I have bad days too. It is a choice I have to make everyday. Negative thinking leads to negative behavior. I don’t know about you, but I think the world has enough negativity without me adding to it. So I make a choice and think of the positive side of life. Everyday I start the day in prayer, thanking God for all the wonderful things in my life. My faith, my family, my health, my job, my friends, my large assortment of shoes(again those that know me understand that comment) and I just list things that I’m grateful for. I’m not going to lie, there are days when that is so tough to do. Some days I just thank God for hot water in the shower each morning. Remember no matter what you’re dealing with, it could always be worse. So that brings me to the point of negative thinking vs positive thinking. You always bring about what you think about. Don’t spend your time thinking you can’t, if you say you can it might just make all the difference. Wendy KISS fact: Eating poorly, not exercising, and not getting adjusted regularly can also have a negative effect on you! Remember the 4 leg chair concept, you need all for your legs to be in balance.
